Reading Techniques

We have chosen three reading techniques: skimming, scanning and predicting. we aredeveloping defferent activities for these tecniques.

    1.  We will ask some question about some mice for developing scanning techniques.

  • Where does the pygmy mouse live? Where does the dormouse live?
  • What do the different kinds of mice eat?
  • How long are different kinds of mice?
    2.  For developing the predicting techniques we will ask some questions about mice

  • Do you have a house mouse?
  • What does it eat?
  • How long is the house mouse?
    3.  Finally, for developing skimming techniques we will do two general questions.
  • What is the text about?
  • How many types of mice are there in the text?
